During my recent two-night stay at the Fontana Hotel in Luxor, I found it to be a commendable choice for travelers prioritizing both affordability and basic comfort. The hotel's location, conveniently situated near the train station, provides easy access to the vibrant local suburb. A modest room with well-maintained amenities included an electric kettle, with helpful information provided on local attractions. The highlight of my visit was the attentive service from Mahmoud, who generously upgraded my room at no extra cost and consistently ensured my needs were met. The offerings like free Wi-Fi and tours at competitive prices add to the hotel's appeal for budget-conscious visitors. While not lavish, the experience balances the luxurious expectations one might have, making it a sensible option for solo travelers or small groups seeking a pleasant stay in Luxor.
